The Digital Twin Hub is a collaborative web-enabled community for those who own, or who are developing, digital twins within the built environment, and is intended to ensure that knowledge and experience is shared to maximise learnings.

Registration terms

This Notice is provided by the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB). For the purposes of this notice, CDBB is the Data Controller and BSI and Invision Community act as Data Processors. This community is facilitated by CDBB and is made available to you using a third-party platform provided by Invision Community. Your use of this community is subject to compliance with the community rules described below and with Invision’s Acceptable Use Policy. Your use of this community is also subject to compliance with CDBB’s Terms of Use. By clicking “I agree”, you confirm that you have read and understood these documents, and that you acknowledge that these documents govern your use of this community.

Further information regarding Invision’s processing of your personal data can be found in Invision’s Privacy Policy. Please note that CDBB is not responsible for, and does not control, Invision’s processing activities.

Community rules

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted by DT Hub members. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this website. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You agree, through the interactive services of the community, such as blogs and online discussions, that all material and contributions are accurate (where they state facts), be genuinely held (where they state opinions) and comply with applicable law in the UK and the law of the country from which they are posted.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this website to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. We reserve the right to terminate your account if you fail to abide by these terms.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you are, or have the permission of, the copyright owner. For the avoidance of doubt, any background intellectual property shall remain the property of the originating party.

You agree to post information related to your clients only with their prior approval, especially if these are related to their assets. We also recommend that users apply a security-minded approach in relation to the sharing and use of information.

You agree not to use the DT Hub to promote your products or services, except in the areas where it is explicitly indicated that you can do so.

Third party products included in our software may be subject to third party manufacturers’ terms and conditions. Please visit their websites for details.

Our software uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a personalized experience when you browse this site. Further information can be found on the Invision Cookies page.

Intellectual property rights

Subject to statutory allowances, extracts of material from the community may be accessed, downloaded and printed for your personal and non-commercial use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted in the community.

CDBB’s status and that of any identified contributors as the authors of material on the site must always be acknowledged.

You may not modify the paper or digital copies of any material printed off or downloaded in any way and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

You must not use any part of the material on the community for direct or indirect commercial purposes or advantage without obtaining a licence to do so from the University or its licensors. 

If you print, copy or download any part of the site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use the site will cease immediately.

Nothing contained in the site shall be taken, construed or considered as a grant of licence or right to use the trademarks of CDBB or that of any third party displayed on the site without the prior written permission of the respective owner/s
