Faculty Science Ltd (‘Faculty’) is the UK’s largest independent AI company, with over 300 employees, including 100+ PhD-level AI/ML data science experts.

We provide AI services across a range of industries and use-cases, including hardware integration, data fusion, object and signal detection, NLP, improved maintenance and supply chain prediction and application of AI/ML to improve business processes. We are the Data Science partner to the UK Home Office, Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, NHS and other Government Departments. Commercial clients include the BBC, Google and Virgin Media.

In addition to services we provide a computational twin product, ‘Frontier’, designed to improve decision making in complex environments or supply chains, such as hospitals, manufacturers and retail clients. Frontier creates a computational twin of business processes, enables a clearer real-time picture, allows AI-powered predictions of future performance and unlocks straightforward scenario planning without having to enter ‘spreadsheet hell.’ It was cited in The Times in December 2022, while an earlier iteration, the NHS Early Warning System, is cited in the UK National AI Strategy as an example of exemplary AI deployment.
