According to the CReDo Technical Report 1 the CReDo source codes “are published under a permissive open-source licence and are held under version control at the Science & Technology Facilities Council (https://gitlab.stfc.ac.uk/credo/base-repo/).”, but the STFC GitLab requires an account to login.
How can I access the code?
Hi Sven
The project source code will be available as part of the CReDo legacy from the 28/03. We will be publishing new pages here on the DT Hub with all the details you will need about how to access on the 28/03. I’ll send you link once it’s all up.
Thank you for your patience.

So it seems the Environment Agency built the https://check-long-term-flood-risk.service.gov.uk/map which shows that section of the riverbank as being free from flooding. Would raising a FOI on the Environment agency to explain why that section of the bank does not flood according to their map?
I found a report by WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff relating to the flood risk in Barking Riverside: Appendix D.pdf (lucmaps.co.uk) which may help?

It would be interesting to know the source of the data, John. What we have found through the work on Credo is that the data is not always easy to find, or consistent, so very much depends on data being supplied in a timely and usable way. It looks to me that some data is missing here either hydrology or some sensor data about particular flood defenses.
The quality of the data is always key to getting quality results.

Hi Humanner
I am not a housing or planning expert, so this is a bit speculative;
- Large pieces of land are put up for sale by farmers and councils for housing developments as one large lot
- Large parcels of land need huge investment so mostly taken up by big housing construction companies that have a portfolio of house designs for the site.
What Jack along with 3D Repo and Bryden Wood are proposing, above, will give individuals better access to the planning process alongside the bigger actors, to take advantage of smaller available sites to develop houses of their own design.
As to whether the UK have the creativity and nice designs available, I suppose you’ll have to ask Kevin McLeod on Grand Designs.

MemberJanuary 20, 2021 at 9:29 pm in reply to: We need to set a goal and then just do itWell If I can say, the Pathway document intends to do just that. If anyone hasn’t read it, it is here and a fair amount of commentary about it was raised in the soon to be released Responses to the IMF Pathway consultation too. We will be looking at updating the Pathways document in the coming months to reflect the work done, the feedback received and our refocused approach.
This past year has seen the technical team focusing on developing an FDM (Foundation Data Model) Seed for the (Construction Innovation Hub) CIH’s Platform Design Programme and many of the output from that will inform the development of the top down approach detailed in the Pathway. (This is where the surveys of Top-level Ontologies, Industry Data Models and more have been developed)
But Commons have also been working with Accelerator Groups to begin investigation into the bottom up approach. In keeping with Section 4.2 Tasks 2 and 4 of the Pathway, we are keen to build a Corpus of organisations with Digital Twins to develop demonstrators. If asset owners with Digital Twins are looking to explore the bottom up approach we would LOVE to hear from them.

The Benefits webinar happened last week on Tuesday 20 October and we were delighted to have nearly 100 people join us for the discussion. If you missed the webinar, it was recorded and is available now on YouTube

It should be read alongside the Pathway document.
