Good point – it is very important for all Organizations to have a Enterprise Systems Architecture (ESA)Â – which includes Information, Data, Hardware, Process, Role, Security, Access, communication, Alerts etc. etc. These Systems Architectures are usually developed in alignment with the Organizational Vision, Mission, Goals, Frameworks, Operations, Marketing, Customercare etc. The Information Management from pure ‘demand-side’ of data/information may need to match with future potential growth, data volume, user base etc. to stay relevant in the operational future scenarios. These are important topics, Planners need to be ware of when dealing with Information, data, output.
We traditionally work with ‘static’ or rested past data but increasingly and realistically we live in very dynamic operational world even going towards connected robotic operations in the future!! I wrote about these trends to my fellow peers in USA about having to keep a watch on speed, agility and responsive Systems Approach for Planning.
