Who are you? I’m Dr Stefano Cavazzi a “Principal Innovation and Research Scientist” leading the development of geospatial data science research programmes at Ordnance Survey (OS).
What is your industry and profession? OS is the national mapping agency for GB.
Where do you plan to use your new Digital Twin Knowledge? Personally/professionally? OS data helps public services, businesses, partners and developers to make smarter decisions. Digital Twins can offer a way to further this by dynamically integrating asset data and information throughout the asset lifecycle achieving greater levels of productivity and efficiency gains.
Why have you decided to join the DTHub? I would like to explore what are the use cases driving organisations to invest in the creation and operation of Digital Twins.

Do you have any examples of work that you have done using Digital Twins? Internal R&D projects at OS in collaboration with partner organisations are exploring Digital Twins requirements, specifications and standards.
