Hi, just heard Mark Enzer at the Future Digital Twin online conference – and hit join! So my answers are:
- Who are you?  Solutions Architect working for KBR in the UK. KBR is best known as an EPC but I’m working on taking the good projects work into the Operations environment.
- What is your industry and profession? KBR works in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries with licensed technology in ammonia production etc. However, I have a wide industry background from utilities to FMCG manufacturing
- Where do you plan to use your new Digital Twin Knowledge? Personally/professionally?  Am i the only one that has a digital twin for home automation? Seriously, predominately professional use.
- Why have you decided to join the DTHub? To network and find out new hints, tips and tricks that can deliver my customers real tangible value
- Have you participated in any of our meetups, or events? Not yet
- Do you have any examples of work that you have done using Digital Twins? Currently working on a 3D digital twin with a global Oil and Gas production company -great 3D views but finding the operations benefit?

As a BIM Manager at MaRS Trans USA LLC, I have been involved in several Digital Twin projects for construction sites, where we have created virtual replicas of the physical assets and utilized them for monitoring, simulation, and analysis to optimize construction processes, enhance communication, and improve decision-making. I am an MBA student at University of Strathclyde with an experience of four years in the downstream Indian Oil industry. I am looking forward to learn, interact and contribute to the Digital Twin technology related to the district heating networks.Â

Personally/professionally?  My knowledge of Digital Twins can be helpful for professionals in the HVAC and manufacturing industries interested in implementing or optimizing their processes using Digital Twin technology. HVAC and manufacturing are among the many industries that can benefit from using Digital Twins to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operations. My knowledge of Digital Twins can help professionals in these industries better understand the technology, identify its potential applications, and learn about the best practices for implementing Digital Twins in their operations.
- Why have you decided to join the DTHub? Joining the DTHub can provide me access to a community of experts, peers, and partners who can offer guidance, support, and collaboration opportunities related to digital twin technology. This can help me to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital twin technology and accelerate my digital transformation journey.
- Have you participated in any of our meetups, or events? No
- Do you have any examples of work that you have done using Digital Twins? No. But for my master’s program project, I’ve chosen to explore the application of Digital Twins in optimizing the energy management of HVAC systems in non-domestic building types. My research aims to investigate how Digital Twins can be used to simulate and analyze the performance of HVAC systems under different conditions and to identify opportunities for improving their energy efficiency.

Who are you? Head of Transformation Services, Digital Solutions at DNV. My role is to support our customers on their digital journey, to provide insight and strategic direction to securing better business outcomes.
What is your industry and profession? We support the Energy industry, Maritime sectors, and National Governments with digital transformation. My background is a Chartered Geographer with GIS as my specialism.

Have you participated in any of our meetups, or events? Not yet, but I have heard good reports from other colleagues within DNV.
Do you have any examples of work that you have done using Digital Twins?  Digital twins are powerful tools for optimising the safety and efficiency of systems throughout their lifespan. - Who are you? Rick Garner, strategist at Razor Limited and Microsoft MVP award holder. I have a background is data management and application development but now I’m working with our clients on their digital roadmaps, data consolidation and innovation adoption.
- What is your industry and profession? Razor are a software innovation company with strong skills in data processing, warehousing, analytics and cloud application development. Our main client focus is in industrial IoT, rail, utilities and logistics, but we are adept at solving all kinds of problems our clients bring to us. We are based in Sheffield in the UK where have strong links with the University’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, and we are a Microsoft Gold Partner.
- Where do you plan to use your new Digital Twin Knowledge? Personally/professionally? Professionally – I lead the IoT strategy at Razor which includes our approach on Digital Twins.
- Why have you decided to join the DTHub? Â I want to get a wide view of the DT ecosystem and see how companies are using the technology as part of their Digital Transformation. I also want to meet potential partners and clients with interesting problems for our talented engineers to work on.

- I’m the UK sales account manager for CIMPA – a digital services company
- What is your industry and profession?
- We have been primarily in the A&D vertical although we are now branching out into other business areas
- Where do you plan to use your new Digital Twin Knowledge? Personally/professionally?
- CIMPA is a major player in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) services and a subsidiary of Sopra Steria providing end-to-end services in consulting, information systems integration, business processes, and support. In this vertical alone we have over 5,300 professionals across 7 countries, including a center of services in India and Poland. With a 560M€ turnover.

Professionally to understand and improve my knowledge. I want to learn more detail and continue to grow my knowledge to help achieve better results for our clients.

Have you participated in any of our meetups, or events? I would love to take part, but I have not yet. We have a stand at Housing 2023 in Manchester 27-29th June if anybody is around, it would be good to talk all things digital.Â
Do you have any examples of work that you have done using Digital Twins? over 1500 domestic properties scanned and modelled into Revit.Â

- Why have you decided to join the DTHub? – was a previous member and part of the BIM Level 3 ‘client steering group’ (BEIS) and subsequently the CDBB.Â

- Do you have any examples of work that you have done using Digital Twins? – Internal R&D projects to OS (and project partners) designed to assist with forward product roadmap.

My name is Visal Valsan I’m a student at the University of Leicester. I’m planning to do a dissertation regarding Digital Twin cubing with EV car batteries. I have decided to join her because of my dissertation and I need to conduct interviews and questionnaires so I thought it would help full. No, I have not participated in any of those but I wish I could have. No really any work this is my first work. Â
