First steps of a digital twin
McKinsey Digital propose 8-steps to create the first steps of a digital twin.
Has anyone used this method – particularly to explore and validate requirements for complex systems?
If not, how and at what stage of a project, does the first executable model emerge? – what steps precede the model?

Thank you @Dave for highlighting this. I am currently developing a digital twin for an AHU for fault detection for my PhD research. I have considered soem of the questions like regarding the data layers, attributes, sourcing and modelling the data and the end-state architecture. The other questions are interesting to think about.
