Digital Twins for the Built Environment

This guide has been produced by CDBB for members of the DT Hub community to provide a foundational knowledge set for all of our members. The purpose of this guide is not to be exhaustive but to document, at a high level, knowledge and examples of Digital Twin use cases that have been shared through the development of the DT Hub and engagement with our founding members. It is hoped that by sharing this knowledge all members of the DT Hub will benefit from a common understanding of foundational concepts and the ‘How, What and Why’ of Digital Twins over a Built Environment asset lifecycle. By spending the time to read this guide we hope to stimulate your thinking and we actively encourage you to bring these thoughts into the DT Hub for discussion with other members. The content of this guide will evolve, based on the feedback provided by you and all of our other members.
