Anybody bought plastic drums in bulk lately and had them hold up in this weather?
So our usual guy who we’ve been getting secondhand blue barrels from for years finally retired to Kerala and honestly good for him but now I’m stuck trying to source about thirty or forty decent drums before the next production run kicks off and I’m realizing I have no idea what a fair price even is anymore for new stock. We store a pretty mild cleaning solution concentrate nothing crazy corrosive but it does eat through the thin liners of those cheap reconditioned ones if you leave it sitting for more than a few weeks and then you’ve got a slow leak situation that nobody notices until the warehouse floor is slippery. Also does anyone know if they do any kind of discount for picking up straight from their yard instead of delivery, I’ve got a guy with a flatbed who can make the trip but I hate calling sales teams blind and sounding like an idiot who doesn’t know what he needs.
