Data Sharing Working Group Annual Report 2024-2025

“Do it once and share it many times”

The Digital Twin Hub Data Sharing Working Group (DSWG) brings together data sharing practitioners across industry, government and academia to collaborate on emerging data sharing best practice.

Over 2022-25, DSWG has grown into a cross-sector practical working level group where members share data sharing experiences, challenges and approaches to overcoming those challenges. In 2024, the snapshot report, Cross-Sector UK Data Sharing Infrastructure – Digital Twin Hub, was published by Connected Places Catapult, setting out a framework for talking about data sharing infrastructure based on discussions that took place at the DSWG.

DSWG collaboration and learning has laid the foundations for a Data Sharing Infrastructure Hub to support the development of data sharing infrastructure.
