Digital Twin Product Manager
Location: Flexible
Are you able to develop a digital twin product roadmap informed by customer requirement and emerging market trends whilst also engineering new, innovative business models. We see connected digital twins combined as cyber-physical infrastructure as ushering in as profound a revolution for how interact with information as the introduction of the internet. You will help make it happen.
The immediate objective of this role will be to develop offerings that address the challenges faced by central and local government in improving resilience, sustainability, policy planning and implementation, through digital twins for monitoring, management, optimization, and faster-than-real-time simulation for ‘what-if’ scenario analysis. In time your ambition will take in AR/VR/XR, in pursuit of Japan’s Vision for Society 5.0, and the UK’s Cyber-Physical Infrastructure plans.
You will craft a product roadmap informed by market fit, product requirements, customer needs, and the go-to-market strategy. Working to the Digital Twin Programme Lead, and alongside our Solution Architects, and sales teams, you will own the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical implementation to measurement and ongoing optimization, all with an eye on driving growth. Your job is to use your entrepreneurial skills combined with a big-picture vision, agile leadership and solid management skills and deep subject matter expertise to achieve results on time and on budget.
The role will focus on developing and executing the vision and strategic direction of the product(s) within the portfolio that you are responsible for, in line with the overarching Centre strategic objectives. Using an innovative and dynamic methodology supported by modern agile tooling you will design and shape services so that they deliver value to Fujitsu and its customers but also be focused on establishing them quickly using a minimum viable product approach. In addition, you will provide leadership to an agile and collaborative cross-functional offering team. You will be expected to work with our customers, business owners, and other stakeholders representing the Centre.
Required Skills & Personal Attributes
We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset who can spot new potential outcomes or themes for the product and will manage product the end to end, driving the development and continual improvement of the product, supporting the sales and adoption of the product and ensuring that it meets the needs of the value streams it is involved with.
- Be an Agile leader (ideally, you’re SAFe certified but you know how to prioritize work against clear outcome orientated goals and run design sprints)
- Be the expert on the market, technology trends and competitors to enable competitive positioning and market-based pricing relative to the offerings to be developed
- Perform feature prioritization and road map planning
- Understand how to effectively use agile toolset
- Understanding of the processes needed to reduce the uncertainty that the product will succeed
- Find and articulate real customer and business value
- Define and track success metrics
- Translate business-to-technical requirements, and vice versa
- Create pricing and revenue modeling
Experience & Qualifications
The candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate experience of:
- Product management and design in a co-creation, design-thinking environment
- Leading agile teams (Scrum, SAFe methodology)
- Designing large or high-risk solutions with ownership of the entire service landscape of multi-solution programmes
- Providing ‘Thought leadership’, communicating the impact of emerging technologies on customers and Fujitsu’s services business to senior level customers and Fujitsu’s services businesses.
