Digital Twin Consortium Q3 Members meeting and Open Sustainability Event
The Digital Twin Consortium’s first ever European members event is this week! Held in Leeds and the University of Leeds Nexus Building the meeting will be hosted by DTC member Slingshot Simulations, our Regional Branch Organizer (RBO) for England.
Our event will run concurrently with the Leeds Digital Festival, (which is well worth checking out) held twice per year. The Festival features world-class tech content including technical presentations, collaboration, and training.
If you’re not an employee of a DTC member organisation you can still check out the DTC Information Day this Thursday (29th September) – Digital Twins: Aspiring to Create a More Sustainable World. The event is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about digital twin technology and methodology encompassing the three pillars of sustainability: Social, Economic, and Environmental.

@Ali, there were a couple of very interesting presentations on supplier Digital Maturity (Periodic Table), which probably could be applied to Digital Twin Maturity, although I think for DTHub, it would be interesting to see a maturity based upon a scaling defined from the Gemini Principles would be interesting.
They also have a working group to review and grade Use Cases which (if there was a Digital Twin maturity scale), would help define if a use case is a Digital Model, Digital Shadow or Digital Twin. -
@Glenagree and think that the seperation out of Use Cases along these lines helps remove a lot of the ‘cross talk’ (for want of a better description). I know this was something that TechUK’s DT working group were also exploring in terms of a matrix of maturity, complexity and then application. Will see If I can get the slides to add on to this thread.
