Cambridge Zero – infrared space telescopes to monitor energy efficiency of buildings Project
The project aims include to deliver high-resolution thermal infrared imaging data from space, to identify buildings for energy retrofit and to help meet the UK’s Net-Zero target.
The data collected will show building heat loss locally, as well as anywhere in the world, and researchers would like to involve those who will benefit from this novel satellite data provision as prospective end users. These might be, but not limited to, government, industry and civil society groups.
