About the DT Hub
The Digital Twin (DT) Hub hosted at Connected Places Catapult, was created in 2020 by the Centre for Digital Britain at the University of Cambridge. It is a free, vibrant network with over 6,000 members worldwide.

The DT Hub membership community is a place for finding partners and collaborators, for learning and sharing experiences; for driving innovation, developing expertise and advancing state of the art for digital twins.

Our purpose
We see the need for digital twins to be connected across different networks and sectors, to help ensure better global outcomes for people and our planet.

How you can connect with the community
Weekly Gemini Calls, live presentations, funding opportunities updates, and knowledge exchange between industry leaders, academics, and the digital twin community.

Networking events (in-person and virtual)

Building knowledge and capability
Training in partnership with Cranfield University, to help individuals and organisations across industry at different points in their digital twin journeys.

Our impact
Many members join the Hub to build their digital skills and digital twin knowledge through a wealth of resources. Membership allows them to develop key skills to help them operate in the market, with top skills relating to:

  • Digital twin architecture and design
  • Standards and best practice
  • Collaboration and engagement

I already have recommended the DT Hub and their tools (e.g. the Reference Architecture) to colleagues. DT Hub member, Academic

Learning by doing and progressing through sharing
The DT Hub provides its members with a range of support activities to raise awareness and understanding about the “Art of the possible”. Our weekly Gemini Call brings together members to connect with each other, share learning and exchange knowledge about digital twin best practice.

We have submitted two joint bids in collaboration with partners who connected with us during the Gemini Call. DT Hub member, SME

The DT Hub acts as a bridge between industry, government and academia – providing updates and opportunities related to digital twin funding programmes, with many members securing investment and commercial opportunities or at least, discovered new funding opportunities from being part of our network.

We have established a consortium with other SMEs and have successfully secured projects using our solutions framework. DT Hub member, SME

Special thanks to our partners, DNV and Cranfield University
