- Who are you? I am Jithin Mathew. An experienced postgraduate with a strong background in Engineering designs, project management, and Supply chain. Completed a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing a master’s in Engineering Management at the University of Leicester.
- What is your industry and profession? Led the execution, project planning, and coordination of 100+ engineering projects focusing on Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in the Sultanate of Oman. Skilled in forecasting, and stakeholder management, and worked in small-medium enterprises with 1.5 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry and 8+ years of handling Mechanical and Construction projects

My knowledge of Digital Twins can be helpful for professionals in the HVAC and manufacturing industries interested in implementing or optimizing their processes using Digital Twin technology. HVAC and manufacturing are among the many industries that can benefit from using Digital Twins to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operations. My knowledge of Digital Twins can help professionals in these industries better understand the technology, identify its potential applications, and learn about the best practices for implementing Digital Twins in their operations.

- Do you have any examples of work that you have done using Digital Twins? No. But for my master’s program project, I’ve chosen to explore the application of Digital Twins in optimizing the energy management of HVAC systems in non-domestic building types. My research aims to investigate how Digital Twins can be used to simulate and analyze the performance of HVAC systems under different conditions and to identify opportunities for improving their energy efficiency.
