Mining engineer with PhD in mining, worked for Rio Tinto, Anglo American and De Beers through my career in Europe and Africa. Started developing digital twin in mining concept almost 15 years ago although that time no one called it a digital twin. -
What is your industry and profession?
I am a mining engineer with 37 years of experience last 20 years working on developing new technology for mining (both hardware and software) -
Where do you plan to use your new Digital Twin Knowledge? Personally/professionally?
Mostly professionally to expand our company reach outside mining and also learn from other people’s experience. -

Our company Sight Power Inc (www.sight-power.com) has created few digital twins of a mine (both mining and ore processing facilities) as part of our offering to the global mining industry.
