Semiotic Triangles…
Hi all, doing my commenting on standards I found a strong reference to “semiotic triangles” within the ISO work for digital twins. In essence, it’s a concept that describes the relationship between what you are “twinning”, its representation, and its semantic meaning.
For example, semiotic triangles can be used to determine whether it is safe to enter your garage if your digital twin confirms “a Jaguar is in your garage”.
(Note: For international readers, a Jaguar is a make of car manufactured in the UK)
(Note: For classifiers, a Jaguar can be incorrectly classified as a Panther)
