Research Participants Needed – digital twins and energy (University of Bristol)
Calling for experts working on digital twins & energy!
I’m a social scientist based at Bristol University, exploring how various practitioners collaborate on developing digital twin projects in the context of energy and decarbonisation. I’m interested in your day-to-day decisions regarding interoperability while preserving the security and privacy of data. I’m also curious how ethical considerations are built into your work, from modeling assumptions, and the inclusion of stakeholders, to communicating uncertainty.
My fellowship will address these questions through a series of expert interviews and co-creation workshops held over the next few weeks. Ultimately, the project will deliver free community resources: 1) an evaluation tool for including ethical considerations in digital twin projects; 2) a report with detailed policy recommendations.
I’m currently recruiting professionals for 1hr interviews (online or in person). If you work at the intersection of digital twins and decarbonisation (whether as a developer, manager, founder, coordinator, researcher, consultant etc.), I’d love to hear from you!
Further in 2024, we will be developing an exciting programme of workshops. Will be keeping you updated about all project developments 🙂
