Collaborative Workshop: Introduction
The DT Toolkit Collaborative Workshop is an online tool designed for all those interested in developing a digital twin business case for their organisation. It has been introduced to meet the needs of members of the DT Hub community and is a direct follow-on from the DT Toolkit report which was created with knowledge and expert input from DT Hub members.
The workshop series has been developed by the DT Hub team in partnership with the Construction Innovation Hub, and together with digital collaboration platform specialist, Axis.
Consisting of three free workshop templates to address different stages of the digital twin journey, the Collaborative Workshop helps you to accelerate your digital twin journey by bringing together the right people to co-create the foundations of your digital twin business case. There are no restrictions on the number of participants for any of these templates, you can invite as many colleagues as you need.
Workshop templates are tailored to address three different stages of the digital twin journey. There are no restrictions on the number of participants for any of these templates, you can invite as many colleagues as you need:
-
Start the journey
For those where the digital twin is a new concept and organisational and information readiness is low but there is an emerging mandate to explore the potential of digital twins. Workshop 1 will help you to define how to start the journey.
-
Drive impact
The digital twin is a well-understood concept across the organisation and recognised as strategically important. Ambition is clear and there may already be digital twin pilots in flight. Workshop 2 will define the scale use cases to deliver rapid and material impact.
-
Scale value
The digital twin is up and running and driving value at scale. The organisation is aligned and accountabilities clear. The use case roadmap is defined. Workshop 3 allows reflection on progress made and agreement on how to accelerate and scale value, including benefiting from the National Digital Twin’s Information Management Framework (IMF).
