Digital Twin Skills Development
NEW Digital Twin Strategy and Transformation, and Digital Twin Implementation courses
The Digital Twin Hub has partnered with Cranfield University to offer two courses to develop digital twin capability.
The new Digital Twin Strategy and Transformation and Implementation short courses are part of a suite of learning for senior leaders offered through the partnership of the Digital Twin Hub and Cranfield University.
The courses have been scoped alongside asset owners and operators and are founded on the Gemini Principles, National Digital Twin programme and interlinked research from Cranfield University and the Digital Twin Hub community. Training is delivered by Cranfield University and the Digital Twin Hub, in association with policy makers, industry associations, academic experts and practitioners.
Course structure
Each course is planned over 4 weeks with 6 hours of active learning using best-practice examples (remote lectures delivered in real time and recorded for catch-up) and a strategic discussion forum with the cohort. Lecture sessions run once a week.
By participating in the sessions and successfully completing a 4-week course, you will receive a Cranfield University Certificate of Attendance and a digital badge.

Course 1: Digital Twin Strategy and Transformation

Course 2: Digital Twin Implementation
• Foundations: Digital twin design architectures and methodologiesÂ

• Interoperability and federated digital twin
• Artificial intelligence in digital twins

Training is led by Dr Maryam Farsi and Prof. John Erkoyuncu at Cranfield University.
