Data Transmission Layer
Wiki title
Data Transmission Layer
The data transmission layer transfers acquired data to higher layers for integration, modelling, simulation, and analysis using various communication technologies.
This layer ensures digital twin functionality and security, with metrics such as range, data rate, multiplexing, modulation, authentication, encryption, network topology, and power consumption used for evaluation of the performance of wireless communication techniques. Adoption of different communication technologies depends on data generation speed and infrastructure scale to achieve secure, efficient, and low-power transmission.
