Register now for The Apollo Protocol: The Human Capital Hack – a must-attend if you want to explore how digital skills shortages can be addressed between the built environment, construction and manufacturing sectors.

Digital skills are becoming increasingly important in decision making and the operation and governance of data management systems. How do we manage human capital between the sectors to ensure that competition for digital skills is healthy while achieving our common goals?
At this interactive event we will identify and explore the digital skills we need and begin to develop a framework for change that would benefit both manufacturing and built environment sectors.

Who should attend?
We are seeking a diverse audience from across the manufacturing and built environment sectors, including but not limited to:

  • Owners of public sector and government procured built environment programmes, including in infrastructure, government buildings, hospitals, schools, housing etc.
  • Property managers in built assets in the private sector, including estate management professionals.
  • Client-side Information managers and consultants working in the built environment with a responsibility for setting out information requirements.
  • Digital delivery managers working in contractors responsible for information requirements.
  • Technical managers/head of digital in construction product manufacturers who provide products into the field from which they have data requirements.
  • Sustainability managers in manufacturing or the built environment who are responsible for assessing the carbon impact of products and/or who have cross sector data needs.
  • Environmental assessment framework professionals with use cases for cross sector digital needs.
  • CIO or head of information responsible for data, security working either in manufacturing or contractors.

If this sounds like you, sign up for this event to get involved.

About this initiative

The Apollo Protocol is an initiative to unlock the benefits of digital twins between the built environment and manufacturing sectors, supported by the technology sector.

Our goal is to deliver a mechanism for formalising communication between sectors, built on the work already being done separately. This will be achieved through The Apollo Forum, an open independent network of professionals of all three sectors who have identified or who are working on cross sector digital twins and information management initiatives.

The Apollo Forum is being launched with a series of in-person and online ‘Hacks’, practical events for professionals to come together and begin the conversation about getting our sectors to work together on one of four themes:

  1. Unifying the value chain - For information and data services and requirements across the sectors
  2. Circular supply chains - Turning the built environment sector’s waste and latent material into a resource for the manufacturing sector through effective, integrated digitalisation.
  3. Optimised performance - Throughout the product lifecycle, enabled through robust and interoperable data with technology enabled information sharing.
  4. Managed human capital - Between the sectors to ensure resources are optimally utilised and have the right learning and reskilling environments.
