Dave Murray
McKinsey Digital propose 8-steps to create the first steps of a digital twin. Has anyone used this method – particularly to explore and validate requirements for complex systems? If not, how and at what stage of a project, does the first executable model emerge? - what steps precede the model?
John Holden
This is fascinating, thank you for highlighting @Dave Murray. Personally, I haven't seen this method used but I am very intrigued to see if others have.
Valerie
Thank you @Dave Murray for highlighting this. I am currently developing a digital twin for an AHU for fault detection for my PhD research. I have considered soem of the questions like regarding the data layers, attributes, sourcing and modelling the data and the end-state architecture. The other questions are interesting to think about. Neil Redman
Would like to know how Digital Twins can be developed for delivery in FE and onto HE for the Construction sector. Funding courses/training and software to bridge the pipeline of skills in AI. Conversations with the Innovators, sector workshops and critical collaboration to create talent, skills and meet net zero goals. What steps are needed next to nurture and adapt?
