Early analysis by the Geospatial Commission suggests that more accessible and better quality location data in infrastructure and construction could be worth over £4 billion per year and accidental strikes on underground assets are estimated to cost £1.2bn a year in direct and indirect cost.

One of our first initiatives is the creation of a National Underground Asset Register.

This event is for organisations and authorities who own and operate buried assets, as well as those who excavate on their behalf.

Gaining your input on our future plans is extremely important and valuable to us so please do come along to hear more about our programme and take the opportunity to give your feedback.
